From Whitecougar of the Sami people [NORWAY] has come the vision of the

WORLD DRUM PROJECT

This beautiful drum and her caretakers are dedicated to taking her around Mother Earth in cooperation with groups and individuals who are also committed to world peace and environmental protection. They seek to assist Mother Earth to heal herself, and for we two-leggeds to remember that we share Her with all Her Children including the animals, birds, reptiles and insects of all kinds, plants, waterways, air, stone and crystals.

Many peoples around Mother Earth know and work with the powerful Heart energies of the Medicine/Shamanic drums. They have been used as sacred medicine healing tools for millennia.

Through the World Drum we are invited to feel in our hearts, Her vibrational healing energies that assist us to reconnect to the heartbeart of ALL & Mother Earth. This sacred drum sings to us our ancient memories as Earth’s Human children, powerfully yet gently reminding us that we merely hold her in custodianship for the 7 th Generations – we do NOT own her nor do we have the right to exploit Her gifts and Her treasures.

Below I’ve included excerpts from the World Drum website at www.theworlddrum.com

for you to read.

If you feel the connection in your heart, then take a closer look and maybe become actively involved in supporting the World Drum’s journey of loving peace through sacred drum song vibration around our beautiful and beloved Earth Mother:

From the World Drum website:

‘We are striving to keep the drum in motion – riding on a wave of force.
This includes a strategic and further view than just until the next ceremony.
We will weave a thread throughout the world, which will bind us together in dynamic cooperation for a better world.’

Our aim is to bring attention to the critical situation for Mother Earth –

The web of life is coming undone and will bring catastrophic consequences
.

Following … ‘Whitecougar's vision and participation between several people, The World Drum has been created (by Birger Mikkelsen), and sent on a journey to participate in worldwide ceremonies.

Our Goals

We aim to wake people from their lethargy and indifference’ simultaneously ‘demand[ing] ACTION from our Governments and politicians instead [of] nice, but empty, phrases.

We [recognize that we] have to make drastic actions to reduce and stop pollution and poisoning [so that we can again enjoy] bountiful [and sustainable] harvesting of resources, [rather than] destroy[ing] our own home - Mother Earth … many in the world’s scientific and political communities are now supporting what Indigenous Peoples and environmentalists have long known through the proliferation of  ‘Scientific facts’ that are often in the media, confirming the  ‘signs and tendencies in nature are all pointing to an accelerating catastrophe.’

‘A challenge

We would like to call for all environmental organisations, groups and people who want a better world, to cooperate and unite their force.’

‘Participation in ceremonies

The thought behind the project is that the participant brings attention to the critical situation for Mother Earth.

To make it work we must try to reach the press, hand out flyers,  have the ceremony in public places.

We are striving to keep the drum in motion – riding on a wave of force.

This includes a strategic and further view than just until the next ceremony.

We will weave a thread throughout the world, which will bind us together in
dynamic cooperation for a better world.’
