Elders of many nations from the four corners of Turtle Island made long pilgrimages to this magnificent place to perform ceremonies and share the gift of the curative waters called No-wa-sa-lon (Breath of Healing). They received other special gifts like healing stones, healing clay and healing herbs to enhance their journey through life. He alternates living in Buffalo, Texas, at the tribe’s Ceremonial Grounds, and in Lena, Miss., where he practices, teaches, and holds Bear Lodge (Asi/Inipi) and leads a monthly Drum Circle, a prayer ceremony honoring the Native American Medicine Wheel. On October 11, 2004, 13 Indigenous Grandmothers from all over the world—the Arctic Circle, North, South and Central America, Africa, and Asia—arrived at Tibet House's Menla Mountain Retreat amidst 340 acres of forests, fields and streams in upstate New York. Within a few days of convening, the grandmothers agreed to form a global alliance; to work together to serve both their common goals and their specific local concerns.

The first council gathering was a time of hope and inspiration. The grandmothers are both women of prayer and women of action. Their traditional ways link them with the forces of the earth. Their solidarity with one another creates a web to rebalance the injustices wrought from an imbalanced world; a world disconnected from the fundamental laws of nature and the original teachings based on a respect for all of life.

This biography is a declaration of my uniqueness and magnificence, as an individual expression of the wholeness of All-That-Is. It is provided as a guide to remember the essential aspects of your divine beingness, to help you possibly realize the unique magnificent awesome being that you are and remember/realize your divine Essence, Function, Connections…. , and what you came to planet earth to do and experience through these specific aspects of your divine nature. As my friend Beautiful All has told me time and time again, "no matter how awesome you could describe yourself, you are infinitely so much more, and you haven't even begun to describe how awesome you truly are", and this applies to you too!

 

The Truth is, there is absolutely no difference between us in any real way, only illusions separate us, and our perception of ourselves as being separate, unworthy, lesser than… And I can assure you that wherever I am in my spiritual growth, however "high or low" I am, however awesome I am or know myself to be, or wish to become, there is so much more still to come, so much more of me (my God Presence) to embody. I have had many ascension experiences, but am always ascending, or more accurately, "Inscending". Every day, every moment is an Ascension/Inscension Experience. The Journey continues infinitely.

Jade Wah’oo Grigori is a caretaker of ‘the Ways’, an authentic Shamanic lineage. Raised in a Shamanic family of Mongolian heritage, his paternal grandparents being from the Seven Villages of the Csango People, descendants of the Mongol Golden Horde, in the Carpathian Mountains.

Jade underwent his first Shamanic Initiation in 1956, at 5 years of age. Subsequent to this he has devoted his entire life to the fulfillment of the mission given him; that of bringing the awakening of the Shamanic ways to all peoples, regardless of race, culture or gender. Jade Wah’oo brings an understanding and ability to convey the principles and practices necessary to this task, making his approach uniquely suited for the peoples of the 21st century.

Following the death of his Grampa Pena in 1982, he became the Caretaker of ‘the Ways’, a compendium of Songs, Ceremonies, Dances, Methods and Techniques, Approaches to Spirit and the Ways of Power. Jade Wah’oo currently lives in Sedona, Arizona caring for his children and being actively engaged in service to his community.

Yolanda Martinez is an Apache Drum Maker, making the most beautiful Drums you will ever own. Yolanda has been making Drums since 1987 her beautiful Drums are full of life and incredible energy. They are sought world wide. Yolanda recorded her first Recording in 1992. In 2005 she became a NATIVE AMERICAN MUSIC AWARDS Winner for "BEST FEMALE ARTIST"! Her latest CD AMERICA was nominated in the 2007 NAMMYS for "BEST FOLK ARTIST". Her music consists of Traditional Native American to Contemporary, Country and wonderful Latin. Patty-Lynne is Crow Tales' Director, Co-producer & Storyteller. She is a musician and shaman with a keen interest in indigenous cultures. She inherited her storytelling, musical and spiritual gifts from her family. The idea to produce Crow Tales came to Patty-Lynne in 1997 when a crow visited her at work one day and refused to go away. In many ways, that crow is still present in Patty-Lynne's life along with a passion for storytelling and the teachings of Saint Francis of Assisi.
